2008 CHURCH PICTORIAL DIRECTORY. 

We don’t want to bore you with continually

publishing information about the upcoming directory; we just want to help you remember to keep September 16th and 17th open to have your photos made.  Someone will be calling you before too long to make your appointment.

In the meantime, you may want to put these two dates on your calendar so you can be prepared. 

So far, we have 8 people who have volunteered to help us, but we may need more, so, if you wish to help, please notify us at the church, 924-5295.

COOKBOOKS. We told you last week that we had 19 cookbooks left.  Well!  We sold 4 more on Sunday, so that leaves only 15 to sell.  We’ll keep reminding you of the amount we have left.  So, if you know anyone who would like to have one, please help us sell them. We felt that maybe some of you who did not have a chance to buy one at the yard sale or the HoeDown, so it’s not too late to buy one. If you are interested, there is a basket sitting beside the cookbooks.  Just drop $10 in the basket on the table in the Fireside Room and take a book.  There are some great recipes to choose from, so here’s your chance to add to your collection.

KITCHEN AND REST ROOM SUPPLIES.  Madrene Shepard, who kindly donates all of the kitchen and restroom supplies, asks that if anyone notices any supplies running low to please make a note of it and leave it on the refrigerator in the kitchen.

SECOND MONITOR.  Praise the Lord!!  The thermometer is getting ready to burst, and we are in sight of our $3,000 goal!  We now have received $2,613.  We have less than $370 to reach our goal.  Praise the Lord!!  The second monitor is a real and soon-to-be-reached goal.  Thank you!!

 REDWOOD CHRISTIAN FAMILY CAMP will be July 6th through July 12th.  Pastor Thom and Debbie will leave after church on July 6th and be gone all that week.

INTEREST AND TALENT SURVEY.  Most of you probably remember the survey form we gave to each of you to fill out to let us know what duties you would be interested in to help us out periodically at the church.

First of all, we thank each and every one of you who responded.  This will certainly make it easier for me to fill out the monthly calendar.  Also, we are going to try something different!

So that we can ensure everyone is being included in the monthly calendar at one time or another, and to make sure we give everyone a chance, I will be using my list to assign members in order.  The reason for this is that many times when I am planning the calendar, I make phone calls during the day, and since so many of you work, I have been unable to contact you.  So, because of this, it seems that I am using the same members all the time. 

We want to include everyone of you who are interested, so to ensure we miss no one, I will continue to try and contact you by phone, but if I can’t reach you, I will e-mail those with e-mail access the date I have assigned to you and the job you will be doing for the particular Sunday.  If for some reason you can’t comply with that particular date, please e-mail me back immediately, if possible, so that I may choose someone else. 

For those of you who do not have e-mail, I will contact you by other means (phone or mail.)

For those who did not have the opportunity to fill out a form, you may get one from the church office or call me at 924-5295.

Please remember!  If you cannot accommodate us on the Sunday you are assigned, please remember to let me know immediately.  Either e-mail me or phone me at the church office,
